5 No No’s of relationships.

by Ms. Anonymous!

As you can see, the season premier of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta is a clear cut example of what NOT to do in a relationship. I was so set aback by this first episode, that I thought it was FAKE! I couldn’t grasp the concept on how a man can disrespect his woman, in public! How a man can disrespect the mother of his child, period! While it’s not only DISRESPECTFUL to blatantly disrespect your significant other in public, yet alone on camera in front of thousands, yet alone millions of viewers, it is disrespectful to continuously show the lack of ! Ladies, kids or not, you should NEVER let a man, yet alone the father of your child, disrespect you or even side with his sidepiece. Here are 5 No No’s that you should NEVER let slide in a relationship.

1) BLATANT Disrespect:

Whether in public or private, never allow your significant other to blatantly disrespect you. Ever heard the saying “Bad habits are hard to break?” Well, nip it in the butt! While some onlookers may think it’s funny, in reality it’s an epidemic. It’s becoming too common in all races. This needs to stop! It’s not ok…

2) CHEATING:

Men can not cheat if there aren’t women for him to cheat with! I repeat, MEN CAN NOT CHEAT IF THERE AREN’T WOMEN FOR HIM TO CHEAT WITH! Women need to stop being willing participants in breaking up people’s marriages or relationships! Since when was an honor to be a home wrecker? Like seriously? Women should not allow cheating to CONTINUOUSLY take place in the relationship. Easier said then done huh? How much more are you willing to stand by and watch another women interfere with your relationship. Ladies, think smarter. You deserve better. And fathering a child outside of the relationship? I mean come on! How more disrespectful can that get! Cheating is not ok…treat it that way.

3) ABUSE:

Physical, emotional, verbal, etc. ALL abuse is a NO NO. Abuse should not be taking place in a relationship! If your significant other can not be your backbone what’s the point of carrying on a relationship? If they feel the need to degrade you, put you down, and humiliate you, then they’re capable of doing anything. They no longer look at you as their equal. You are actually below them. Why allow yourself to be in a predicament where you’re not valued? LEAVE! It’s a process…but the only thing that matters is progress!

4) DRAINING the relationship:

Do not take out without putting back in! What do I mean? Just like a bank, if you allow your significant other to continuously withdraw without making deposits, you’ll be in the negatives. You can’t physically and emotionally give your all without replenishing some way some how. Don’t allow your significant other to be dead weight! That’s not ok! Pull your weight…

5) NO open relationship:

Many may disagree with this! But oo well! Say it with me, MO-NO=GA-MY! There is absolutely no reason why you’re in a relationship and entertaining other people in the process! Open relationships do not work! Some may argue that open relationships allow for both parties to be open without cheating! Sleeping with others while you’re in a committed relationship, what would you call that? Does it become ok because your significant other know that you’re doing it? Monogamy is the best when both parties are involved. If you’re not ready to settle, DON’T! But do it outside of a committed relationship!
