FEATURED New Music: Michele Karmin – “Six Years”

Michele Karmin is an alternative singer/songwriter and electronic artist from the greater Philadelphia region. She has been writing and performing music before she was in her teens but shifted musical directions in early 2009. Upon the release of her third studio album, she began teaching herself piano and embarking on a new writing approach. This effort of re-discovery proved to be the missing piece of her evolving artistry as it catapulted her to a new height as an established songwriter and musician.

It wasn’t until the release of her first self produced piano composition, “Six Years” that Michele set the mark for the future of her sound. The single garnered much attention for its haunting melody, and soulful vocals which led MK to her first music video and debut sound.
