Looks like it’s a case of ‘like father like daughter’ as Brooke Hogan appears to be following in her father’s footsteps . According to TMZ.com, Hogan has just signed a deal to join the TNA Wrestling family. BUT!!!…

TNA President Dixie Carter says Brooke is NOT going to be a wrestler but rather an executive who will be tasked to develop female talent.  Brooke’s duties will include help with up and coming she-wrestlers to develop their characters, help with backstage promos and even consult on entrance music.

This is the perfect field for 24-year-old Brooke as she’s been around the wrestling world her entire life and she qualifies perfectly for this position and it sure doesn’t hurt that her father also works for TNA.  Brooke should be a natural at this and it’s a good path for her to add to her list of ventures.

This surprising news comes after BET has let go two of our favorite stars on their hit show “The Game”: Pooch Hall and Tia Mowry. So fans soak it all in because our favorite hosts Rocsi and Terrance who countdown our favorite music video’s will soon be going their separate ways. According to https://allhip-hop.com, there are only three months left on Rocsi and Terrance J’s contract, so when that runs out, it’s over for for them! It’s also been reported that the BET network wants to take the channel in a new direction by reinventing and changing its current programs and bringing new shows into the mix, which has been talked about for some time already.

America has lost another music legend. According to many reports (tmz.com, bossip.com) among many, Donna Summer, the Queen of Disco — died this morning after a battle with cancer.

It’s been said Summer was in Florida at the time of her death. She was 63-years-old.

Summer was a 5-time Grammy winner who shot to superstardom in the ’70s with iconic hits like “Last Dance,” “Hot Stuff” and “Bad Girls.”

She continued her master of disco music throughout the ’80s with the very popular “She Works Hard for the Money” and “This Time I Know It’s for Real.”

Summer and her producer Giorgio Moroder defined the dance music era of the ’70s and influenced acts like Duran Duran and David Bowie to enter the genre.

Summer married Brooklyn Dreams singer Bruce Sudano back in 1980. They had two daughters together.

Donna Summers and her impeccable dance moves will be forever in our hearts, may her disco soul rest in peace.

It seems former American Idol contestant Johnny Keyser has done it yet again and broke out with his own work, dropping his first EP with seven tracks filled with breathtaking lyrics and a voice to die for. Remarkable is not even the word to describe the passion and goosebumps that happen when listening to this future star. It’s just seven tracks that complete this small album, but the lucky seven they are. With popular tracks such as “A Change Is Gonna Come” and the smooth piano droppings at the right moment or “Never To Late” and it’s encouraging lyrics for all to stream inspiration from. Great work! John Mayer: Born and Raised

Good to see that John Mayer is able to bounce back from dis-crediting interviews that did nothing for his career, ex-girlfriends that have moved on, and a three year hiatus while dealing with health issues. Back with his fifth studio album titled “Born and Raised” which is a  follow-up to 2009′s Battle Studies, following his surgery in March of 2012, Mayer has already debuted the leadoff single Shadow Days. Providing fans with a set of indie/cowboy-esque songs, tracks like Queen of California and Whiskey,Whiskey, Whiskey fit well for that beer-binging and dream-sharing with your buddies type experience. Not sure if that’s a good thing. Produced by well-known  musician Don Was, this album can do without the soft rock and country sounds and just stay with more of Mayer’s soulful rock. Sorry Johnny boy, this album has been denied a VERSED approved stamp.

Killer Mike: R.A.P. Music

Can fans believe it hasn’t even been a year yet after Killer Mike’s assorted release: PL3DGE. Now with this current work of art, R.A.P. Music finds the Atlanta rapper feeling himself and with good reason while working exclusively with daring hip-hop producer El-P. This magnificent project also earns extra cool points because of it’s association with Williams Street label. Filled with  political talk, fans would have to do a double-take or  a serious case of rewinding to get a better listen while Mike goeees in on tracks such as “Reagan” and “War On Drugs”. Bun B and T.I. also make guest appearances. This album has been VERSED approved!

Yvette Wilson is best known for her role as Andell Wilkerson on the UPN sitcom Moesha and its spinoff The Parkers. She has appeared on many comedy films such as House Party 2, House Party 3, Friday, and on Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam. Yvette has experienced kidney failure, kidney transplants and cervical cancer, among other things. Her cancer has come back after an extended retreat, and doctors are saying it’s very aggressive this time out.
