Ok ladies, I know you can’t help but fan yourself and grab a cup of cold water to quench your thirst off this fine young specimen and his sensual commanding voice! Although our future baby’s father Mr. Trey Songz that is, has decided to bless us with just five tracks of his new EP, whether he’s serenading his fans over a smooth mid-tempo beat about how “Sex aint Better than Love”, asking in that sexy voice of his to make love “Outside, Pt. 1” or reminding what he be on in “What I Be On” ft Mr “Niiice” aka Fabolous, one thing that can never slip our minds is the incredible talent and sex appeal this man brings every time he’s belting out a hit or showing off his rapping skills. Ladies this is for you, and Gentleman, take notes! This album has been VERSED approved!

Rihanna: Talk that Talk

Release Date: 11/21/2011

Record Label: Def Jam

Genre:R&B

It’s the lucky number six for this island beauty, and she’s back at it better than we last heard from her a year and a half ago. With it’s blazing lyrics, this 15-track project speaks of love, sexuality and most importantly strayed away from that “dark” element that was all over he last two albums. Fans have already rocked out to her hit single “We Found Love” ft. Calvin Harris (C.Breezy look-alike), but with singles such “Cockiness (Love It)” and “Birthday Cake” that oozes that right touch of self confidence and sexiness, it’s hard for a female not to step into that character of “I’m the sh*t”. Rihanna also slows it down a little with  “We all Want Love” which speaks of that yearning feeling of love and its forthcomings or the very opposite in “Farewell” which speaks of letting a love go. This album holds great promise across the charts and in the vault of  VERSED files, there fore I dub this album VERSED approved!

Mary J. Blige: My Life II: The Journey Continues: Act 1

Release Date: 11/21/2011

Record Label: Geffen Records

Genre:R&B

Fans were introduced to what would gradually become of the tenth studio album of this talented woman with her soft yet street appeal who gave us the 411, invited us into her life, to share her world, experience no drama, walk through with her and her newfound breakthrough, as she got stronger with each tear, and now as she continues on the journey of her life once again; she’s remained at the top of her throne. “Someone to Love Me” (sampled by the Sweet Inspirations) which was released in the early spring of 2011 became a hit on the charts and extremely popular on the airwaves, Then came the next single to drop “25/8” (which speaks of adding that extra hour in the day to love) in September following “Mr. Wrong” ft. Drake. Featured artists contain Beyonce in “Love a Woman” and it’s declaration of how a woman needs to be loved, “Get it Right” ft actress turned singer Taraji P. Henderson, and “Why” with Rick Ross. Exceptional work done on this album gets a VERSED approved stamp.

Taylor Swift: World Tour Live: Speak Now

Release Date: 11/21/2011

Record Label: Big Machine Records

Genre: Country

This musical memoir that feature’s live performance from this boastful young lady carries hits that the pop singer loves and some from her past. Hits include The Train’s “Drops of Jupiter” and Kim Carne’s “Bette Davis Eyes.”  The DVD/Blu-ray disc that accompanies this album features 18 performances, as well as home movies and rehearsal footage for the show, such as the dancers, aerialists, numerous costume changes, and a mammoth, multi-stage setup. Although it seemed much appreciative of her efforts, however the only hit on this album that seemed worth listening to were the “re-makes”. Nice try Taylor, but this album will have to get a boot away from the VERSED vault. This album has been denied.
