With this beautiful voice and crazy talent oozing from this young women’s voice, I couldn’t help but not put her business, her business meaning good music out there. Jade Alston who released her first single “Missing You Lately” on Itunes back in November is making sure her voice and sex-appeal stays stuck in her fans memory. Those who choose to listen will be quite pleased with her many different sounds starting with her second single “Single on a Saturday Night” released by the lady herself on http://singersroom.com which talks about the familiar feel of living the single life on a free-willing saturday night. Fans can slow it down with “More Than Friends” and can enjoy the deep sounds of the piano in “In The Morning”. This young woman explores all possibilities in life from the burning feeling of losing the “Love of My Life” or “Searching” for stability, Alston covers it all. This album will most definitely be placed in the VERSED approved vault!
Luke James: #Luke
Release Date: 12/26/2011
Record Label: Mercury/Def Jam
Genre:R&B
At first once this young man’s voice came on, it seemed like a replica of Chris Brown! If that’s sounding a little to far-fetched, then that’s what Luke James is doing to those who are listening. Now just who is Luke James? He’s a singer/songwriter who truly embodies the honesty and fresh soulfulness that’s been in high demand when it comes to contemporary music. Presenting this 9-track mix tape, James calls it a “pre-album” to the masterpiece he’s set to release in early 2012 already titled “Made To Love”. The tracks also include current single “I Want You” which speaks many volumes of great soul and undeniable force. Fans can download/stream the rest of what Luke James is out to offer. This mix tape has been granted a VERSED approved pass.

This 11-track collection of live cuts from the award-winning gospel singer brings forth material both new and old. Praise & worship music is what you’re getting, and while it was made to be played before a vivacious audience, the crowd’s noise can be heard through out with Cage and his smashing band getting back as much as they’re putting in. Nice work! This album gets a VERSED approved pass.
Tinchy Stryder: The Wish List EP
Release Date: 12/25/2011
Record Label: Takeover Roc Nation
Genre: Rap
Well this is quite different, a sound im trying to get used to but it’s a bit difficult with the demanding and loud beats of this intimidating sound and lyrical flow from this british artist. Both singles “Oh No” and “Stick Up” both sound the same and may possibly carry the same motto: violence! All that seems to be heard is a strong english accent, curse words, and i just cant! Enough said, this album has been denied a VERSED approved pass.
