LL Cool J Talks about Pending Release on 13th Album
Over 21 years and 12 albums later and this man is still going! Known for his signature lip licking and untouchable lyrics, LL Cool J still wants his fans to know his music will continue to be [in his own words] “something like a phenomenon.” His last album dropped 4 years ago. LL still has a firm hold on the mic which is why the rapper/actor is gearing up for his 13th studio album and he’s quite amped about it.
LL had a chance to talk about what fans should expect from him in the near future. According to (urbandaily.com) the rapper had this to say to the media:

“I’m going to be doing a little bit of the album on the [My Connect Studio], make sure that it is official, and as a matter of fact I started on my album too. It’s authentic Hip Hop, it’s the business…it’s 2012, so it doesn’t sound like it would sound if it were 10 years ago or 20 years ago, but it’s definitely official. It’s a breath of fresh air. It doesn’t sound like anything that’s out right now. I think it’s crazy. It’s the business. It’s real.”
He didn’t say exactly when fans should expect this new so it’s still up in the air at this point.
