Oprah Winfrey and 50 Cent Put Aside Differences For Interview

It’s been years since these two have spoken to one another but as of recently, it seems Oprah Winfrey, and “Fiddy” have squashed their beef. The G-Unit rapper and CEO became chummy again with the female billionaire TV-host during a sit-down interview for Winfrey’s “Next Chapter” series.

The two even made it known on each of their twitter accounts also insinuating that the interview, (which aires on OWN this Sunday night (June 10) at 9 p.m. EST) went very well.  Winfrey tweeted: “Just leaving Fiddy’s house …what a great conversation,” before she also posted a picture of 50 with his arm draped casually around her from her “InstaGram” account.

Curtis Jackson (50’s real name) posted the same picture on his own Twitter account. It looks like the two celebrities are genuinely happy about their new-foundpeace-making and the up-coming aired interview as Winfrey gave fans a sneak-peak by posting up (“Can you believe Fiddy meditates?”) on her website in a  30-second trailer.

It’s great to see people put the past behind them over irrelevant happenings, although it seemed like a loooong time would probably past before this “reconciliation” would happen. As many of us remember what sparked this incident that went back to the year of 2006 when 50 snubbed the longtime queen of talk show for “her lack of guest diversity,” (via www.ebony.com).  ”I think she caters to older White women,” 50 told the Associated Press back then, “Oprah’s audience is my audience’s parents, so I could care less about Oprah or her show.”
