A look at newly released albums that got approved or denied

Jim Jones: Capo

Release Date: 4/05/2011

Record Label: Entertainment One Music

Genre: Rap
Alright Jimmy Jones is back at it again with his latest LP “CAPO”! Mr. Ballliiin has already released his first single titled “Perfect Day” which has been a success on t.v. and the airwaves on the radio. But then we go back to the first  few tracks that kind of give us a glimpse in the day-to-day struggles that Jones experiences in the street like “Let Me Fly” and his personal mind-on-the-grind persona with “Deep Blue”. Now i don’t know about the rest of you all but listening to “The Paper”, i felt like i was reliving “We Fly High”. Now a couple collabo’s ft. Cam’ron on “Gettin to the Money” and Game is feautured on “Carton of Milk” and former G-unit Soldier Lloyd Banks and recently freed Prodigy take the stage on “Take a Bow”. I was even shocked to hear Ms. Ashantie  cover a few verses on “Change the Locks” which sounds like good stuff. Overall Jim does a good job with this album. This album is officially certified VERSED approved and thats it with “keeping up with the Jones’s”!

Jennifer Lopez: Love

Release Date: 5/03/2011

Record Label: Island

Genre: Rock

Ms. Jennifer Lopez is back on the block and i hope better than ever with a double disk c.d set to drop in may! The album which is titled “Love” has been said to have been worked on since 2007 while the latina singer was pregnant with her twins! There was a case of some songs being leaked and a poorly received track titled “Louboutins” #huhn?! but she bounced back from all that and is proudly here to present this 28-track album with the first 12 songs being labeled as ‘standard’ and the rest of the 16 as ‘deluxe’. The pending album features collaborations with The-Dream, Pitbull, and Lady Gaga. So for all the J-lo fans out there, i hope you “love” this album while i file this under VERSED approved.
