But who knew Lindsay could even attempt to sue her peers when she can’t even stay out of a courtroom for a long as a month?! However, the troubled actress filed a suit back in 2011 against artists Pitbull, Ne-Yo, and AfroJack over lyrics used in a song titled “Give Me Everything.” According to reports, a New York federal judge dismissed Lohans case against the trio.

The suit was in regard to a line in the song, “I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan,” in which Lohan’s attorney claims it did “irreparable harm” to the actress. Her lawyer Stephanie Ovadia, at the time was seeking an [injunction] that would allow all defendants to stop broadcasting as well as unspecified damages. [TMZ]

In the suit presented by Ovadia, Lindsay is described as “a professional actor of good repute and standing in the Screen Actors Guild” *rolls eyes* #chileplease! As well as per the New York civil right law in which Lindsay should be protected from having her name “trashed” around for commercial purposes.

Reports claim the judge ruled that the song was “protected under the First Amendment as a work of art” and disregarded Lohan’s claims that the track caused her “emotional distress.”

The popular single “Give Me Everything,” hailed from Pitbulls 2011 Planet Pit album, was written by Ne-Yo and AfroJack and did so well on the airwaves, that it went on to sell 8.2 million copies worldwide.
